G86 is a very high impact, high SPL loudspeaker box.
In a very compact and light weight enclosure of only 39kg it packs incredible 141.5db of peak SPL. Fully equipped with premium OEM components it can handle incredible 2400W AES, 4800W program power with over 9000W of peak power handling.
Very robust 2.5 inch voice coil 6 inch drivers handling the low frequency provide unparalleled performance in its size category.
HF is covered by a 4 1.75 inch voice coil 1 inch throat HF driver. The polyester annular ring cone makes it able to handle the lower frequency spectrum with much less stress then the standard dome shaped metal diaphragm but in the same time effortlessly provide the very high frequency sparkle making the HF very smooth sounding.
Its average sensitivity of 101db 1w/1m, (after processing) combined with the extreme high power handling makes it comparable in its maximum SPL capabilities with some of the horn loaded loudspeakers and a small 4 hang line array boxes.
The simplicity of its deployment gives it substantial advantage over much more complex 4 box hang of small format line arrays.
G86 operating frequency range covers the range between 70Hz and 20Khz with +/- 2db variation from 200Hz to 18000Hz using the factory specified processing.
It comes with 90×30 and it is pole mountable.
